Project Leader - Chalk River, ON

Qualifications:

·         Has a degree from an accredited university in a field relevant to project management, engineering, applied/building sciences.

·          Has >7 years progressively responsible project experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience related to plant or facility operations, engineering or large  construction projects.

·         Has achieved (or is maintaining) PMP or AACE certification, or is within 12-18 months of achieving certification.

    

Duties include:

·         Motivates team members to meet quality, scope and cost constraints.

·         Establishes and controls the project scope and manages the risks.

·         Establishes and administers project budgets and schedules and approves changes to scope of work within project management guidelines.

·         Manages and reports on project performance to clients, management and other stakeholders.

·         Authorizes project expenditures; e.g. purchase orders, invoices and expense claims; within limits of delegated authority.
